New Counsel Appointment & Senior Associate Promotions

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Duong An Kim as Counsel in our Ho Chi Minh City office and the promotion of the following lawyers to Senior Associate: Truong Quoc Bao and Pham Linh Chi in Hanoi, and Dang Thi Thai Buu and Duong Phuong Thanh in Ho Chi Minh City.
New Counsel Appointment
Duong An Kim (Ho Chi Minh office): Duong An Kim starts to work as a Counsel in our Ho Chi Minh City office. Kim began her legal career at InvestConsult and went on to serve as Legal Counsel and Head of Compliance at Dragon Capital, during which she also held a board seat at Nui Phao Mining Joint Venture. Most recently, Kim held dual roles as Head of Legal and Head of Investment Banking at a domestic securities firm. Her breadth of experience across legal and financial matters will be a valuable asset to our firm and clients.
Senior Associate Promotions
- Truong Quoc Bao (Hanoi office): With YKVN since 2015, Bao’s practice focuses on cross-border transactions in the aviation industry, as well as banking, finance, and dispute resolution.
- Pham Linh Chi (Hanoi office): Chi joined YKVN in 2018 and focuses on mergers and acquisitions, development projects, banking, and project finance. She also advises clients on a broad range of general corporate matters.
- Dang Thi Thai Buu (Ho Chi Minh office): Buu began her career with the legal arm of a Big Four firm and has been with YKVN since 2020. Her practice concentrates on corporate and M&A transactions, both private and public.
- Duong Phuong Thanh (Ho Chi Minh office): Thanh has been with YKVN since 2017 and advises on corporate and M&A transactions, with a focus on syndicated lending and capital markets transactions.
